This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Instant Meeting product, SuperViz SDK product, and any other services offered by SuperViz (collectively, the “Services”).   • 1.7 SDK User Data: We collect and store user data such as ID, name, avatar, and email when provided during the SDK initialization, used for asynchronous products like Contextual Comments.
  • 1.8 AI Transcripts API Data: We retain meeting transcripts when activated by users and may send these transcripts to OpenAI for content analysis to generate summarized transcripts upon user request.

Information Use We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • 2.1 Provide and improve our Services, including the Instant Meeting product and the SuperViz SDK.
  • 2.2 Personalize your experience with our Services and provide content, recommendations, and features that match your interests.
  • 2.3 Communicate with you about your account, updates, promotions, and other information related to our Services.
  • 2.4 Monitor and analyze usage patterns, trends, and the overall effectiveness of our Services.
  • 2.5 Maintain the security and integrity of our Services and protect your information.

Information Sharing and Disclosure We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • 3.1 With third-party service providers who help us provide and improve our Services. These providers have access to your information only to perform their specific tasks and are obligated to protect your information. Examples include AWS, Amplitude, Active Campaign, and others.
  • 3.2 With third parties for marketing, advertising, or other purposes, but only after obtaining your consent.
  • 3.3 In response to legal requests, if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
  • 3.4 In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we may transfer your information to the acquiring entity.
  • 3.5 With your consent or at your direction.

Data Security We take the security of your information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. However, please note that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Data Retention We currently do not have a specific data deletion policy, and we retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. However, our analytics provider, Amplitude, retains usage data for 365 days.

International Data Transfers Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.

Children’s Privacy Our Services, including the Instant Meeting tool for education, may be used by children under the age of 13 with appropriate parental or guardian consent. We are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such information from our systems.

Automated Processes We use automated backups to maintain the security and integrity of our Services.

Direct Marketing Opt-Out You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in the emails or by contacting us.

Your GDPR Rights If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data Processing Agreements We have Data Processing Agreements in place with our third-party service providers, including AWS, Active Campaign, Amplitude, Stripe, Facebook, and Google. These agreements ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.

We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
